Delegates watched a documentary about the tradition of the People's Public Security; listened to Major General, Associate Professor - Doctor Nguyen Binh Ban, former Director of the Institute of Public Security History, present the topic: "80 years of building, fighting, and growing of the People's Public Security force, 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection" and other commemorative activities.

Delegates also watched a documentary about the tradition of the Vietnam People's Navy; listened to Colonel Le Van Huong, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Navy, inform about the topic: "Recent situation of sea and islands; Vietnam's policies and solutions in the coming time."

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized that after 80 years of building, fighting and growing, the people's public security force has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, and written golden pages of the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Public Security.

From March 1, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will implement a 3-level police model, dissolve 694 district-level police stations, 5,916 teams under district-level police stations; build a team of party members, officers and soldiers of the people's police who are closely attached to the people, close to the people, and in close contact with the people.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commissions of provincial and municipal Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Committees of socio-political organizations, and reporters at all levels to widely disseminate: The results of the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure; The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly (scheduled to open on May 5, 2025); the revolution in reorganizing the apparatus of the political system; Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; the results of the State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.

The conference is an important event in a series of propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the "All People Protect National Security" Festival (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025)./.
