The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize of the 2nd "Quintessence of Thanh Cuisine" Contest to Thanh Hoa City team.

The program aims to practically celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and contribute to honoring the culinary culture and solidarity of Thanh people in the southern provinces.

The event gathered 11 teams from organizations of fellow countrymen from districts, towns and cities of Thanh Hoa province living in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.

Each team has 90 minutes to complete the cooking competition for 10 people and 5 minutes to present and introduce the dish.

The organizing committee scores the dishes of the teams participating in the competition.

At the end of the competition, Thanh Hoa City team won first prize.

The two teams Nhu Thanh and Ngoc Lac won second prize.

Third prize went to the teams: Thanh Hoa Club in the South, Nong Cong and Nhu Xuan.

The consolation prizes went to the teams: Tho Xuan, Song Ma - Yen Dinh, Nghi Son, Ha Trung, Sam Son Phuong Nam.

The contest is also a place to display Thanh Hoa specialties.

On the sidelines of the competition, there were many exciting activities such as art performances, folk games, Muong cultural dance, displaying more than 100 dishes, drinks and Thanh specialties along with meaningful gifts for women in difficult circumstances, contributing to creating a cultural festival imbued with the love of the countryside in the heart of the South.

The contest contributes to connecting Thanh Hoa people in the southern provinces.

The contest "Quintessence of Thanh Cuisine" is not only a cultural playground but also a place to connect the community of fellow countrymen, honor the beauty and talent of Thanh Hoa women, and spread Thanh Hoa culinary culture to friends across the country.
