On the morning of April 30, along with the people of Da Nang and the whole country, looking towards the beloved South in the Grand Ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, the city's veterans also gathered to watch the live program. Witnessing the spirit of the Grand Ceremony, after 50 years of national reunification, the North and South reunited under one roof, the "Uncle Ho" soldiers could not help but be filled with emotion, with national pride forever resounding.

Da Nang veterans were moved to watch the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

At exactly 6:30 a.m., the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification officially took place, opening with the art program “The Radiant Mountains and Rivers of Vietnam”… Then the National Anthem was sung, under the crimson National Flag broadcast live, the Da Nang veterans solemnly performed the Flag Salute Ceremony, with eyes full of pride and emotion…

Although we were not able to watch the ceremony live in Ho Chi Minh City, the heroic atmosphere of the parade and marching of the forces spread strongly through television, making the "Uncle Ho" soldiers overwhelmed with emotion.

More than anyone else, these veterans, the generation that is both a witness to a heroic period of the nation's history and a witness to the country's transformation, development and strong rise in the new era, clearly understand and appreciate the values of peace today, which were exchanged for the sacrifices of many outstanding children of the Vietnamese people...

Through each historical image recreated in the Commemoration Ceremony, it arouses the aspiration and pride in each veteran in particular and all Vietnamese people in general, it is the bond that connects many generations, fostering the spirit of solidarity, as in the article of General Secretary To Lam: "Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese people are one. Rivers may dry up, mountains may wear away, but that truth will never change"…./.
