On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), on April 30, at the central flower garden of the City, the Provincial Museum organized a photo exhibition with the theme "General Vo Nguyen Giap with the Vietnam People's Army".

The exhibition vividly recreates the process of formation, fighting and growth of the Vietnam People's Army under the leadership of General Vo Nguyen Giap - the first Commander-in-Chief, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, who made an important contribution to the great victory in the spring of 1975.
