(kontumtv.vn) – On April 2, Dak Ha district held a ceremony to announce the Decision and receive the Certificate of recognition for Dak Long commune meeting new rural standards and Dak Ngok commune meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024 .

Implementing the emulation movement " Kon Tum joins hands to build new rural areas ", in 2024, Dak Ha district mobilized resources, integrated programs and projects for the goal of building Dak Long commune to reach the new rural finish line and Dak Ngok commune to reach the advanced new rural standards.

Up to now, 100% of commune, inter-commune, village and inter-village roads in Dak Long commune have been hardened; the irrigation system ensures water supply for 100% of agricultural land; the locality currently has no temporary or dilapidated houses. The average income per capita of the commune in 2024 reached nearly 48 million VND; the multidimensional poverty rate decreased to below 8.4%. Dak Long commune is recognized as meeting national standards in health.

With the goal of reaching the advanced NTM target in 2024, the Party Committee and the government of Dak Ngok commune have focused on leading, directing, and mobilizing the combined strength of the people to create a widespread emulation movement. Up to now, the commune has achieved 19 criteria for an advanced new rural commune; people's lives are increasingly developing, with average income reaching over 70 million VND; poor households account for 0.7%; 100% of households have solid and semi-solid houses.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Long commune and Dak Ngok commune for their outstanding achievements in building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas in 2024./.
