Passionate about the cultural identity of the homeland
In the modern life, when social networks are gradually becoming a global bridge, many young people have chosen to "tell stories" about their homeland through videos and Vlogs. Each person has their own creative approach, but all together paint a colorful picture of their homeland and proudly spread it to the online community.
Connecting culture with tourism
In 2022, thanks to the encouragement and support of friends, Dinh Quoc Thich (born in 1995, from Tuy Phuoc, currently the Director of Thich Tours Company Limited in Quy Nhon City), gradually started making short videos, posting them on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. Up to now, the short videos he makes are usually 30 seconds to 1 minute long, longer videos range from 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the topic and depth of content. The criteria for each product he sets is to answer a few questions that the audience is wondering about, stories that have not been mentioned before; trying to make the videos resonate and go viral.
Anh Quoc Thich shared: Right from the time I founded the company in 2021, I clearly oriented myself to do it for the community, for the sustainable development of local culture and tourism. I really hope that each video I make will be a story about culture and tourism; at the same time, help people develop and turn those familiar things into attractive cultural and tourism products, making visitors remember.
Currently, Thich Tours Company is expanding its communication channel system, building nearly 20 satellite channels to promote the image of Binh Dinh, as well as outstanding services and destinations in Quy Nhon. These efforts have initially brought about clear results, attracting more tourists, helping craft villages sell their products... More positively, his videos have motivated many young people, even individuals and colleagues in Quy Nhon to confidently and boldly make videos promoting their homeland.

Reimagining culture through a creative lens
Although living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, singer and musician Le Minh Trung (stage name Luu Minh Quang Ngoc, from Quy Nhon City) still harbors feelings for his hometown Binh Dinh. Recently, he used his own money to make a nearly 9-minute music video "Binh Dinh, my hometown", posted on his personal Facebook, to bring the culture and people of the "land of martial arts and heaven of literature" closer to audiences everywhere. This is not the first work he has composed about his hometown; before that, he also prioritized using cultural materials typical of the land where he was born to put into his compositions such as: Chi co the la me, Tro ve, Tieng noi Viet Nam...
Luu Minh Quang Ngoc shared: For me, music is not only a passion but also a journey to spread love and social responsibility. For each product released, I donate a portion of the revenue to charity funds as a way of sharing. I am also cherishing the plan to bring the cultural charm of my hometown closer to the public through a singing contest called Binh Dinh, my hometown.
Due to work, Nguyen Hoang Phuong, a son of the Mekong Delta, had the opportunity to set foot in Quy Nhon City, a place where the scenery, nature and people all gave him a strangely familiar feeling. Because of its simplicity and friendliness, the land of Binh Dinh has kept him here for nearly 20 years.
With a special affection for the land of Vo, in recent times, he has devoted much of his heart to discovering the pristine beauty, passionately learning about the historical, cultural and human life marks here. That love is conveyed in each frame, through carefully crafted, professional films, posted on Facebook channels such as: Nguyen Hoang Phuong MT, Khoi Du lich (currently has more than 159 thousand followers)...
Not only creating personal content, he also accompanies industries, units, associations, and groups to coordinate in implementing many cultural and sports programs, contributing to spreading local identity closer to the community. Each film he records at the program not only has media value but is also a piece of memory, preserving the beautiful things about the land that has become his second home. The video Conquering the heroic land released in early April is one of them.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong shared: I do this not for any personal gain, but simply wish to contribute a small part to the journey of preserving and spreading precious cultural values to friends. Therefore, in the coming time, the videos I make will continue to delve deeper into exploiting the characteristics of local culture, from customs, practices, folk art to the people of Binh Dinh. Each image is not only a document to preserve but also my feelings sent here.
