The volleyball tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers is part of a series of activities responding to Workers' Month 2025, attracting a large number of union members and laborers to participate.

Gathering over 200 athletes from 15 district and city Labor Federations and Industry Unions, the 2025 Labor Volleyball Tournament for Workers was a success with dramatic, exciting, and attractive matches with many good and fierce moves. Mr. Bui Van Le, Volleyball Team of the Provincial Industrial Parks Union shared: "Each tournament is a new experience for us. The teams are all well-prepared in terms of personnel and competition tactics. The tournament attracts the active attention of the labor force because of its professional and methodical organization. Hopefully, the Labor Unions at all levels will continue to create many useful playgrounds to improve health, improve the cultural and spiritual life of the labor force".

Workers' Month 2025 is organized with a variety of activities associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), activities to welcome Party Congresses at all levels and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2025. With the theme "Vietnamese Workers Take the Lead in Entering a New Era", the Provincial Federation of Labor issued a plan to direct the Trade Union at the grassroots level to directly advise localities, agencies and enterprises to implement many practical activities for workers. The focus is on the programs: "Creative Workers, Confidently Entering a New Era"; "May Dialogue"; Forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party"; "Thank workers"; "Propaganda, raising awareness of union members and workers"... Strengthen propaganda to organize peak months for union member development, establish grassroots unions, mass women's unions, introduce and develop party members and workers... In addition, deploy diverse activities to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights of union members, workers and workers..., focusing on grassroots workers in especially difficult circumstances... Mobilize resources to organize gift giving programs, support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses for workers with housing difficulties...

Along with activities towards Workers' Month 2025, localities, agencies and enterprises continue to strengthen propaganda and mobilize union members and workers to actively respond to the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers". Effectively implement the emulation movement to improve qualifications, professional knowledge and skills; encourage union members and workers to innovate, have many technical improvement initiatives, apply modern technology to production, contributing to increasing labor productivity, work efficiency and improving business efficiency.

It is expected that in May, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize the Launching Ceremony of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health in 2025 with diverse, practical activities, oriented towards workers. At the same time, it will organize to commend, honor and show gratitude to exemplary and excellent workers at enterprises. Along with that, the Trade Unions at all levels will strengthen coordination with functional agencies to organize inspections and supervision of the implementation of occupational safety and health at units and enterprises according to plan.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Thuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor affirmed: "Workers' Month 2025 simultaneously deploys a series of meaningful and practical events and programs of activities towards the working class. Thereby, it aims to raise awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, improving the living and working conditions of the working class. Encourage workers to actively study, improve their qualifications and skills, change careers, access modern labor trends, adapt to the context of international integration and the 4th industrial revolution. Honor and commend workers with outstanding achievements in emulation movements. Thereby affirming the role, position and contribution of the working class in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; being the pioneering force in the cause of national innovation, creative labor, confidently entering a new era - the era of national development".
