In the first quarter of 2025, the socio-economic, defense and security situation of My Khanh commune met the set plan. Specifically, the average income per capita reached 81.68 million VND/person (reaching 97.8% of the plan); budget revenue reached 30.3% of the plan, poor households decreased by 0.28% (reaching 140% of the plan); 96.3% of people participated in health insurance (reaching 100.2% of the plan)... Maintain the commune to meet the standards of advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas in the field of tourism in 2024.

Military recruitment met the targets assigned by superiors, accelerated the construction of key projects; the work of caring for policy families, social protection beneficiaries, poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households was carried out quite well, fully and promptly. Political security and social order and safety were ensured. Party building and mass mobilization achieved many results (developing new party members reached 50% of the plan); State management and administration and administrative reform had many positive changes.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Xuyen City Tran Minh Duc acknowledged and commended the efforts and achievements of the My Khanh Commune Party Committee in the first quarter of 2025. To successfully carry out the political tasks of 2025, comrade Tran Minh Duc suggested that the locality focus on mobilizing farmers to plant summer-autumn crops according to the crop calendar, ensuring successful production; promote the transformation of crop and livestock structure. Maintain and improve the quality of indicators and criteria for building a model new rural area in tourism, prepare a thoughtful announcement ceremony. Strengthen solutions to ensure political security, social order and safety. Promote digital transformation, reform administrative procedures... Carry out ideological work well for cadres and civil servants, do not let psychological impacts on the policy of rearranging the apparatus and administrative units affect the implementation of local socio-economic development goals...
