The music lesson equipment of Ms. Hoang Thi Lan Phuong - teacher at Tran Phu Primary School (Binh Sa commune) includes 30 cards used to sing Bai Choi, drums, and clappers for students to practice.
Ms. Phuong previously attended a Bai Choi art course organized by Thang Binh district. Since then, the school has assigned and included this subject in teaching students how to sing and how to sing in the right tune and rhythm.
There are 30 cards in the Bài Chòi song, and Ms. Phương has edited and instructed the children how to sing 15 cards. For adults, the words in Bài Chòi are sometimes witty and playful. For students, she has to make the most of familiar and appropriate folk words.

Teacher Phuong shared: “The method to help students remember the cards for a long time must come from folk songs, proverbs, and folk songs that are suitable for their age. Surprisingly, most of the students participated enthusiastically and liked this art form. From there, we boldly communicated and established a club so that the students could have a playground to exchange and perform at local festivals.”
The Binh Sa Village Bai Choi Singing Club was established in January 2025 with 22 members who are students of Tran Phu Primary School. Recently, the club participated in the performance of the Tien Chau village ancestor worship ceremony, which was supported and loved by many people because the children, although very young, have passed on the flame of passion and preserved the cultural beauty of the nation.

Chau Thi Thuy Linh (5th grade student, Tran Phu Primary School) said that each song has its own meaning, it is very difficult to sing, but under the teacher's guidance, the students feel very fond of it. For example, many beautiful sentences: " Father's food, mother's clothes, teacher's words/ the gratitude of heaven and earth is engraved in the heart day and night/ to be a person, one must know the meaning of humanity/ the annual teacher's charter, every year remember the day/ the bright red rose in hand/ the fragrant heart, given to the teacher... ".
In recent times, Thang Binh district has always made efforts to preserve the art of Bai Choi by training and fostering practical skills in the heritage of Bai Choi art.

In the two training courses, Thang Binh district and Quang Nam Opera Troupe conveyed the content about the origin of the Central region's Bai Choi; methods of organizing and maintaining the activities of folk Bai Choi clubs and groups; and how to organize a Bai Choi festival in Quang Nam. Trainees also practiced singing and performing folk melodies, Ly, Ho, Ve, and calling for Bai Choi singing...
Mr. Le Cao Lan - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thang Binh district shared: "Through 2 training courses on practicing the art of Bai Choi organized by the district, the Department of Education and Training of the district has thoroughly grasped and included this subject in music lessons. From there, educational institutions have proactively taught students, contributing to preserving and arousing the passion for Bai Choi art at this age. Currently, there are no specific words for students, we require schools to be flexible and adapt accordingly."
