The 20 children sponsored by the club members this time are orphans or have difficult circumstances. Each child will receive 7 million VND/year, the support period is 3 years with a total of 420 million VND. At the same time, the members who are "mothers or godfathers" will regularly visit, encourage and accompany the children.

Father or mother to adopt children

The children are happy and excited with their godparents.

Tran Thi Anh Linh, an 11th grade student at Thong Nhat High School, was moved: “My mother passed away when I was just over 2 years old, my father left, I lived with my grandmother and 2 brothers. Every day, my 2 brothers went to work to support me and my education. I thank my father and godmother for helping orphans like us.”

The program “Godmother - Connecting Love” was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union with the goal of mobilizing and connecting individuals, units, and organizations to support, care for, and nurture orphans in difficult circumstances. With love and responsibility, the "godmothers" will become a solid support to help children go to school, helping orphans and children in difficult circumstances have more confidence and motivation to rise up in life.
