Diversified forms of teaching organization

To effectively implement teaching methods and forms, the Ministry of Education and Training notes the selection of teaching methods appropriate to the lesson content to organize students' learning activities to ensure quality.

Spend more time for students to exploit and use textbooks, practice, and experiment to receive and apply knowledge through performing assigned tasks and completing specific learning products according to teacher requirements.

Diversify teaching and learning methods (inside and outside the classroom, inside and outside the school campus), encourage teaching methods to promote students' interest in learning.

Along with that, strengthen professional activities based on lesson research, organize seminars and discussions on program implementation, innovate teaching methods and forms, and test and evaluate according to the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program. Strengthen coordination, mobilization and exchange of teachers between schools in the region to effectively use the existing teaching staff.

Effectively implement methods and forms of testing and evaluation

Regarding testing and evaluation, the Ministry of Education and Training noted that the evaluation of middle and high school students must be carried out in accordance with regulations, not exceeding the requirements of the program.

In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to developing a testing and evaluation plan that is consistent with the teaching plan; and to strengthen the implementation of periodic testing and evaluation through practical exercises and learning projects.

For Literature, avoid using texts and excerpts learned in textbooks as test materials to assess reading comprehension and writing skills in periodic tests to overcome the situation where students only memorize lessons or copy content from available documents.

Strengthen the construction of question banks and test matrices according to the requirements of the subject program; prepare 9th grade students to get acquainted with the orientation of the entrance exam for grade 10, and 12th grade students to get acquainted with the orientation of the high school graduation exam.
