Yen Bai: 850 workers are employed by veteran-owned businesses

Yen Bai - Implementing the movement "Veterans unite to help each other reduce poverty and get rich legally", the Veterans Association at all levels in the province has actively created conditions for members to develop suitable types of production, business and services. Up to now, the production, business and service activities of enterprises and production establishments owned by Veterans Association members have maintained stability and development, creating jobs for 850 local workers.

The workers working in enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments owned by war veterans are mostly war veterans, war veterans’ children, and demobilized soldiers. The policies for workers are always guaranteed with an average income per capita of 5.5 - 10.5 million VND.

Continuing to promote the role, responsibility and nature of Uncle Ho's Army, the Yen Bai Province Veteran Entrepreneurs Association is currently seeking support from all levels and sectors to create conditions to remove difficulties for enterprises, cooperatives, production and service establishments owned by veterans, actively transforming digitally, improving competitiveness, linking socio-economic development with national defense and security, adapting to the green economy, circular economy, digital economy, and digital society. From there, continuously develop production and business activities, ensure stability and create more jobs for workers with increasing income.
