The National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations opened a creative camp in Ha Nam.

On the afternoon of April 11, in Ha Nam, the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations (VUAE) opened the 2025 VLA creative camp. Comrade Nguyen Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and 30 authors and artists from the 5 provinces of Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam attended the opening ceremony.

During the period from April 11 to 17, artists will participate in creative activities, exchanges, and practical experiences at many famous tourist areas, scenic spots, and historical relics of Ha Nam such as: Ba Danh Pagoda, So Kien Basilica, Nguyen Khuyen Temple, Cat Tuong Memorial Area, Tran Thuong Temple, Nam Cao Memorial Area, Ba Kien House, Lanh Giang Temple, Nha Xa Silk Weaving Village, etc.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Duc Toan, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, affirmed: The depth of traditional and revolutionary culture of Ha Nam - a place that still preserves many typical cultural sediments of the Red River Delta; the homeland of heroic people who lived, devoted and sacrificed for the survival and development of the nation; scholars who brought glory to the homeland and country... Ha Nam is also the cradle of many unique folk art forms whose existence and development have deeply reflected the working life, soul and unique creative thinking of people throughout the thousands of years of history of this land. All of these have become important resources and motivations for Ha Nam to build and develop culture and art in the new period, contributing to building the spiritual foundation of society and the comprehensive development of Ha Nam people. He hoped that during the time participating in the creative camp, artists and authors would be able to penetrate reality, learn, exploit and discover many meaningful and valuable documents to serve their creative activities, creating many quality literary and artistic works with high ideological and artistic value. Through these activities, artists will contribute to honoring and promoting the cultural image and outstanding achievements in the socio-economic development of Ha Nam.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the artists went on a field trip, visited and learned about the cultural and historical values of the Provincial Martyrs' Temple and the Temple of 10 Lam Ha female militiamen in Phu Ly city.
