Since the end of 2024, the district has been focusing on implementing a series of major projects. In particular, the Lien Huong 2 Primary School Repair and Upgrade Project with a total investment of 15 billion VND has been basically completed and is ready for handover, providing students with a modern and spacious learning environment.

At the same time, the district has also planned to start construction of a number of new projects this year. It is expected that in April 2025, the coastal protection embankment project of Binh Thanh commune (phase 2) with a total capital of nearly 40 billion VND and the project to upgrade the road from National Highway 1 to Phong Phu commune, with a total cost of more than 31.9 billion VND will be implemented. In the field of education, two major projects at Hoa Da High School and Tuy Phong High School, each with an investment of more than 44.95 billion VND, are expected to start construction in July 2025. These are projects expected to create a change in the quality of the learning environment for high school students in the area. In addition, the project to upgrade the road from National Highway 1 to Ham Da bridge and hamlet 7, Vinh Tan commune with a total capital of more than 25.3 billion VND, is also being accelerated and is expected to be completed before August 2025. This route will significantly improve traffic infrastructure, create conditions for production development, and improve people's lives.

The leaders of Tuy Phong district clearly identified that the investment in the projects not only has the meaning of celebrating important events but also directly promotes socio-economic development, solves urgent problems for the people, and gradually improves the quality of life of the people. Therefore, the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee have directed specialized departments, offices and local authorities where the projects pass through to uphold the sense of responsibility and coordinate closely during the implementation process, especially in site clearance.

In Vinh Tan commune, where a number of key projects are being implemented, the local government has stepped up propaganda and mobilization to get people to agree to hand over the land. Currently, the People's Committee of the commune is actively coordinating to mobilize 15 households on route 2 of the project to upgrade the road from National Highway 1 to Ham Da bridge and hamlet 7 to hand over the land as soon as possible, while urging the construction unit to speed up the construction progress of the Vinh Tien village protection embankment project according to plan.
