Beachfront accommodation capacity is almost full
According to records, key tourism units and localities of the city have been prepared to welcome a large number of domestic and international visitors to relax during the holidays, with the expectation that the city's tourism will have more momentum to grow stronger. Key tourism communes and wards in the area have proactively implemented urban beautification work, ensuring environmental sanitation, security and order, and service quality. Room occupancy at accommodation establishments, especially in the Mui Ne - Ham Tien area, is almost fully booked.
Hotels have proactively increased their staff, re-examined their service systems, and improved service quality. Many establishments have simultaneously implemented measures to ensure food safety, prevent fires, and improve the quality of reception. Restaurants and seafood businesses across the city have also stocked up on goods and posted clear prices to avoid price gouging that would affect the destination’s image.

Tourist facilities are ready to welcome guests.
As a key tourist area of Phan Thiet City, Mui Ne Ward has proactively implemented many important tasks before and during the holiday. Urban beautification, environmental sanitation, hanging of national flags, and ensuring tourism safety have been implemented synchronously. The local government has mobilized 4 interdisciplinary working groups with the participation of police, border guards, militia, Ham Tien - Mui Ne Tourist Area Management Board... to be on duty at key tourist destinations such as Cat Bay Hill, Fishing Village, Hon Rom and organized a mobile patrol team.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam - Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee said: "The whole ward has about 50 accommodation establishments, from hotels to homestays, ready to welcome guests. This year, the number of guests on April 30 decreased slightly due to the time of the national parade in Ho Chi Minh City, but from the May 1 holiday onwards, many hotels and coastal resorts were fully booked, with a capacity of 95 - 99%. The authorities also regularly check food hygiene and safety, provide life buoys, place additional warning signs at the beaches, and increase propaganda to prevent drowning... to ensure that visitors have a safe and enjoyable vacation.
Strengthen inspection, maintain the image of a safe and civilized destination
This year, Phan Thiet becomes more vibrant when a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification take place before and during the April 30 holiday. Provincial and city-level cultural, sports and artistic activities are held throughout to serve local people and tourists such as: Rally to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan, high-altitude fireworks art program; photo exhibition; boat racing, cycling race of Phan Thiet city, art program, entertainment activities, low-altitude fireworks at NovaWord Phan Thiet... contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere throughout the city.
According to Mr. Nguyen Nam Long - Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee, the city has implemented many synchronous solutions to help tourists have a convenient, safe and memorable holiday on April 30 - May 1 with the destination of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan.
The City People's Committee directed specialized departments and offices to coordinate with the police of wards and communes to strengthen the work of ensuring security, order, traffic safety and tourism environment. In particular, the focus is on urban beautification, simultaneously launching environmental sanitation campaigns, and propaganda associated with major political and cultural activities of the province and city. The forces inspect and strictly handle acts of commercial fraud, price gouging of goods and services, especially at businesses serving tourists. Ensuring food hygiene and safety is also a top priority. Relevant units conduct inspections of restaurants, eateries, and accommodation establishments to protect the health and interests of tourists.
The Management Board of key tourist areas such as Ham Tien - Mui Ne, Doi Duong - Tien Thanh has increased inspections, maintained landscapes, public hygiene and stabilized service prices. Together with the functional forces, the units have divided traffic, arranged reasonable parking lots, controlled street vendors, sandboard rentals... to prevent "rip-offs", solicitation, and harassment of tourists. The city has also reviewed and installed more signs and instructions at tourist attractions, increased rescue work, and prevented drowning accidents at coastal beaches.
