On the morning of March 20, Thanh Hoa City Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the training course and approved the political education lecture for the militia and self-defense force in 2024 with the number of participants being 256 comrades, Political Commissars, Deputy Political Commissars of the Military Command Boards (CHQS) of communes, wards, agencies, and militia and self-defense units; Party Committee Secretaries (Party cells) of agencies, organizations, and self-defense units that do not have a Military Command Board in Thanh Hoa City.

According to the Organizing Committee of the training course, the aim of the training course and through the political lecture is to improve the quality of political education, party work, and political work in the armed forces, aiming to build a comprehensively strong city armed force, taking political strength as the foundation, meeting the requirements of local military and defense tasks.

This training course and political lecture focused on thoroughly grasping and implementing Directive No. 2423-CT/QUTW dated November 9, 2023 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on innovation and improvement of the quality of political education in the new period.
