Chairing the voter meeting

On the morning of March 28, the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province , including Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province - Nguyen Thanh Hai; Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control - Nguyen Hoang Uyen, had a meeting with about 120 voters in Tan An city before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting with voters were leaders of several provincial departments and branches, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of Tan An City Party Committee - Le Thi Khuyen.

At the meeting, voters were informed about the time and expected program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Voters expressed their consensus and support for the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on the arrangement and organization of the political system to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient. Voters proposed merging the provincial level , abolishing the district level, and rearranging the commune-level administrative units, paying attention to naming and new administrative headquarters; and policies for redundant cadres, especially grassroots cadres.

Voters of Tan An City propose issues that have been of concern to the people recently.

At the same time, voters suggested that the remaining officials should choose competent, experienced and trained people to be able to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation; the process of rearranging administrative units should create favorable conditions for people to handle administrative procedures; not to interrupt or affect people's work and life.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai spoke at the meeting.

Voters also expressed concerns about the new regulation on increasing fines for traffic violations according to Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government. The fine is high compared to people's actual income, so it needs to be adjusted. In addition, voters also made recommendations on issues related to health insurance, digital conversion, "junk" SIM cards, etc.

Voters' opinions and recommendations were answered by functional agencies as well as the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Nguyen Thanh Hai and promised to be reflected at the upcoming National Assembly session./.
