The Provincial Young Physicians Association conducts voluntary health check-ups in Yen Han commune, Cho Moi district.

The Young Doctors Association currently has more than 930 members in 10 branches. Along with promoting the implementation of the programs "Young doctors study, practice, improve medical ethics", "Young doctors are creative in scientific research", the Association focuses on implementing the program "Young doctors for community health" through organizing voluntary activities to examine and dispense free medicine in the community, participating in health care during the entrance exams to grade 10 and high school graduation exams in the area. In 2024 alone, the Association coordinated to examine, dispense free medicine and provide health consultation for over 3,300 people in the province, attracting nearly 200 doctors, pharmacists and nurses to participate.

Along with medical examination activities, the Association has proactively coordinated with the Youth Union at units to organize gift giving to children, disadvantaged households, policy families, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the province on holidays and Tet... contributing to building a beautiful image of young doctors for the community.

While directly examining patients, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Young Physicians Association said that every year, the Association has coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union, District/City Youth Unions to organize charity medical examination and treatment trips for poor people in remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas. Through many times of participating in voluntary medical examinations for people, he himself realized that many people are in difficult circumstances, but have little opportunity to access medical services and health care. Therefore, the volunteer activities that the Association has been implementing are extremely meaningful and practical.

Through these activities, the team of young doctors unites, gathers, trains, strengthens patriotism, professional ethics, builds the image of doctors in general and young doctors in particular as having good expertise, good medical ethics, serving, and dedicating themselves to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.

One day in early spring this year, we had the opportunity to accompany the Provincial Young Doctors Association to voluntarily examine and treat patients in Yen Han commune, Cho Moi district. Although it was raining, it could not stop the young doctors from volunteering. Everyone arrived very early and promptly started their work, kindly asking and listening to people talk about their symptoms, then conducting initial examinations, specialist examinations and distributing free medicine. This program examined, consulted and distributed free medicine to 150 elderly people. Not only that, the people were also informed by doctors about disease prevention measures and how to take care of their own health and that of their families.

Mr. Le Trong Su in Yen Han commune, Cho Moi district shared: "Coming to the voluntary medical examination and treatment program, I was examined and treated by young doctors with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, not only helping us elderly people detect diseases early but also providing timely treatment. We thank the doctors and hope that this activity will be organized more in the future."

With practical actions, the image of doctors of the Provincial Young Physicians Association has become increasingly friendly and created a good impression. Volunteer activities have become a bright spot in the youth volunteer movement for community health, actively contributing to the work of protecting and caring for people's health in the area./.
