During the journey, Working Group No. 8 visited, gave gifts, and encouraged soldiers and people on the islands of Song Tu Tay, Da Thi, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Da Tay C, Truong Sa and DK1/17 Phuc Tan Platform.

At the destinations, the delegation worked, visited, encouraged, gave gifts, and performed cultural exchanges with the military, people, and forces on the islands and platforms.

Quang Ngai province delegation presented gifts to soldiers and people in Truong Sa town.

Quang Ngai Provincial Delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to officers and soldiers from Quang Ngai who are on duty on islands in Truong Sa archipelago. Memorial ceremony for officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the sea area near Co Lin island.

During the working trip, the delegation participated in the flag-raising ceremony and reviewed the troops in Truong Sa town. Organized a memorial service for officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the sea area near Co Lin island; offered incense at the Monument of General Tran Hung Dao on Song Tu Tay island, the Martyrs' Monument and the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh in Truong Sa town; visited cultural and spiritual works on the islands, etc.

During the trip, the delegation presented many gifts including money and goods to the military and civilians, the forces on duty, schools, clinics, etc., contributing to improving the material and spiritual life on the islands and platforms. In addition, the units participating in the 8th Working Group supported nearly 3.7 billion VND for the “Greening Truong Sa” program, of which the Quang Ngai provincial delegation supported 300 million VND.

At the end of the working trip, the Navy awarded the Medal "For the cause of protecting sea and island sovereignty" and the Badge "Truong Sa Soldier" to the delegates participating in the working delegation.
