
On the afternoon of August 21, the People's Committee of Do Son ward held a conference to review experience in preventing, responding to, and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 (storm Wipha) in 2025.

On July 22, storm No. 3 made landfall in Do Son ward at high tide, the sea level rose from 3 to 4 meters, overflowing the sea dyke of the tourist area, causing localized flooding of the coastal road of Do Son tourist area and damage to the sea dyke system. Before that, the ward had established working groups to mobilize 402 households with 1,250 people to evacuate to safe areas.
Immediately after the storm, agencies, units, and residential groups in the ward focused on overcoming the consequences, supporting people to quickly stabilize their lives and restore production and business, ensuring social order.
