Of which, the number of overnight guests will reach nearly 1 million, accounting for 62.5% of the total number of visitors; total tourism revenue will reach about VND 4,170 billion, an increase of 9.6%.

Notable localities and destinations during this time include: Sam Son city continues to lead with about 916,000 visitors; Hoang Hoa welcomes 91,200 visitors; Nghi Son 89,300 visitors; Ba Thuoc 65,100 visitors; Thanh Hoa city 65,000 visitors.

Some cultural-ecological tourist attractions also recorded a stable number of visitors such as: Ho Dynasty Citadel (Vinh Loc district) 15,000; Cam Luong fish stream (Cam Thuy district) 14,500; Lam Kinh relic site (Tho Xuan district) 10,500; Ben En (Nhu Thanh district) 10,000. Room occupancy rate in the whole province reached nearly 70%, many hotels and resorts reached maximum capacity during peak days.

Notably, during the holiday, there were no unfortunate incidents at tourist areas and destinations, ensuring the safety of tourists. This result was achieved thanks to the proactive and careful preparation of localities, tourism businesses and functional sectors. Many destinations have upgraded infrastructure, improved service quality, and at the same time put into operation new tourism products, imbued with the cultural identity of Thanh Hoa.

Before the holiday, Thanh Hoa province also directed to strengthen inspections of environmental hygiene, food safety, service prices and develop a traffic diversion plan, ensure security and order, and create a sense of safety and comfort for tourists.
