Specifically, by the end of April, local farmers had exploited over 121,697 tons of dry branches, leaves, and bark (including 104,050 tons of cinnamon branches and leaves; 17,647 tons of dry cinnamon bark).
Raw materials are concentrated in Bac Ha, Bao Yen, Van Ban and Bao Thang districts.


Currently, the selling price of dried cinnamon branches and leaves ranges from 1,500 - 1,600 VND/kg, fresh cinnamon bark from 12,000 VND - 18,800 VND/kg fresh (depending on bark size), dried cinnamon bark from 35,000 - 50,000 VND/kg, cinnamon flute 70,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, cinnamon wood from 900,000 - 1,300,000 VND/ m3 , cinnamon essential oil from 300,000 - 325,000 VND/kg...
The total value of the cinnamon industry is over 950 billion VND, helping thousands of households have a stable source of income and improve their quality of life.


Since the beginning of the year, the whole province has planted 451 hectares of cinnamon, bringing the total cinnamon area to 61,251 hectares, equal to 117% of the target of Resolution 10 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on developing cinnamon material areas by 2025 (52,000 hectares).
Along with developing raw material areas, the province also focuses on attracting investment in factories and deep processing facilities, improving the quality of cinnamon products, and linking product consumption to sustainably develop this key industry.
