Ms. Deo Thi Sop in Doan Ket ward is the owner of Ninh Sop dried meat production facility whose smoked pork belly and sausage products have just been recognized as meeting OCOP standards. Along with dried buffalo and pork products, her family currently has 4 3-star OCOP products. Ms. Sop shared: In the past time, members of the Working Group of the City's OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council have actively supported the facility in many aspects, especially in completing procedures and registering product designs. When the product is certified as 3-star OCOP, it helps the facility earn about 600 million VND/year. That is also the motivation for us to continue to participate in registering, evaluating, and classifying new OCOP products such as purple sticky rice.
Similarly, Sukova Cordyceps production facility in residential group No. 5 (Doan Ket ward) has products of whole dried Cordyceps and Cordyceps pupae that have been recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards. Develop a digital transformation system: selling on e-commerce platforms, QR stamps for traceability, digitizing production processes, etc.
At the same time, in the coming time, the city will continue to direct units and localities to review recognized OCOP products, identify potential products and strengths associated with raw material areas to guide subjects to complete dossiers and products, participate in re-recognition assessment and propose star rating assessment. Select typical tourism products and services based on strengths and advantages in natural conditions, raw materials, indigenous cultural knowledge, produced from local raw materials with stable raw material areas.
