At the robot bar, customers can choose to be served by a robot instead of a human employee. Each cup of coffee is brewed by the robot in 2–4 minutes according to a standard recipe, then waves a flag to signal when finished. The robots have friendly names like Tu, Bao, Chi, Thu, and were designed and programmed specifically for the shop by a Vietnamese company.
Ms. Lam Kieu Oanh, CEO of the brand, said: "Robots do not replace humans but are technological teammates, helping to standardize technical steps, while employees still take care of consulting and taking care of customers." Many young customers enjoy taking videos, while older people are initially hesitant, but gradually become excited about this new experience.
The company is monitoring feedback to consider expanding the model to universities, technology parks or creative spaces. “Technology must serve people, bring convenience, but not lose the emotion in each cup of coffee,” Ms. Kieu Oanh emphasized.
