Located in Nam Tu Liem district (Hanoi), the 2-storey cafe with an ancient style is attracting many young people to visit in April.
In response to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30), the owner decorated the space with hundreds of red flags with yellow stars, flags of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, and Party flags covering the entire frontage and interior, creating a brilliant, historical scene.
The unique space not only shows national pride but also becomes an attractive check-in spot for visitors to experience.
The most prominent area is the second floor, where a large flag is hung. Natural light shines through the red fabric, creating a brilliant scene imbued with sacred colors.
This is also the corner chosen by many young people to capture meaningful moments on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
The notable point is that the restaurant has invested in preparing up to 1,000 free costumes for customers to try, including many traditional ao dai, modern ao dai, ao ba ba... designed with a variety of colors and sizes, suitable for many ages.
Not only stopping at costumes, the shop also prepares many accessories such as flags, hats, conical hats, scarves, hair clips... to create uniformity and variety for customers when taking pictures.
According to the store manager, when borrowing items, customers only need to deposit 300,000 VND or show their ID. The maximum usage time is 1 hour if taking photos on the spot, 5 hours if taking them outside, and must be returned before 7pm so that the store can clean and prepare for the next day.
In addition, the shop also serves customers taking photos with many diverse service packages, suitable for each person's needs.
The traditional ao dai worn by young people stands out against the red and yellow of the national flag, creating a picture imbued with history and national pride.
Nguyen Thi Thao (My Dinh) said that this was the first time Thao came to the shop and borrowed a "zero-dong ao dai" to take photos in the brightly decorated space here.
"As a young person, I feel very proud and grateful. Wearing the traditional ao dai, standing in a space filled with national flags and historical images, I love my country even more and feel more deeply about what we have been through," Thao shared.
Besides the prominent national flag hanging area, the restaurant also arranges many nostalgic check-in corners such as walls covered with old newspapers, images of Uncle Ho, General Vo Nguyen Giap, etc. creating a sacred space, which is treasured by young people through each frame.
Knowing about the restaurant through social networks, Anh Duong (2005, student at Hanoi University of Industry) invited her friends to visit and take souvenir photos.
Duong shared: "This is the first time I've come to the shop, it feels so special to stand among the red and yellow colors of the national flag, in a space decorated with historical elements. The shop also lends customers ao dai for free, which helps me freely choose outfits and find beautiful photo angles to keep memories, especially on a big national holiday like this."
The drinks at the shop are also cleverly decorated with the red flag with yellow star, imbued with the spirit of the nation's important anniversary.
In addition to the space filled with flags and flowers to celebrate the historic anniversary, the restaurant also has many photo corners with a strong ancient style. Small corners with traditional objects and old furniture create a nostalgic space, ideal for those who love the old beauty and want to save unique photos.
