The special thing is the bamboo cups designed with the image of the national flag and the words "50 years of national reunification".

Before taking photos at the Independence Palace, Tran Nguyen Tra My, a student at the University of Economics and Finance in Ho Chi Minh City, and her friends stopped by to buy a special cup of coffee. The female student shared: "I saw the shop's image on social media and was impressed by the bamboo coffee decorated with the national flag, so I decided to try it. I'm also very excited about the holiday atmosphere, so I want to support a product with a strong Vietnamese character like this."

My said that although she had to wait quite a long time to buy water, seeing many young people choosing the same drink made her feel happy and proud. "The atmosphere was crowded but not uncomfortable. The more people bought, the more I felt that this was a very meaningful trend - where we could express our patriotism in the most intimate way," the female student added.

Similarly, Dinh Thi Thuy Hang (22 years old), working at 122 Vuon Lai, Tan Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District (HCMC) also shared the same feeling of pride when deciding to buy a cup of coffee made from Vietnamese bamboo tubes. "I like the style of bamboo tube coffee cups here because not every shop has the national flag and bamboo tubes decorated. For me, drinking coffee is also to respond to the festive atmosphere, showing love for the country", Thuy Hang expressed.

The atmosphere at the shop is always bustling, young people holding cups of bamboo coffee while taking pictures inside and outside the shop. Latecomers may have to wait until the next day. Nguyen Huynh (29 years old), owner of Ong Coffee, said that the idea for decorating and designing the coffee cup came from an experience of drinking bamboo coffee in Da Lat and recently decorated it in a style to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

Huynh shared: "Right after introducing the three special cups for the April 30 holiday, the number of customers coming to the shop increased rapidly. On average, the shop sells about 600-700 cups per day."

According to Mr. Huynh, because the fresh bamboo tubes are placed and used during the day, in recent days, the shop has sold out all the cups of coffee in the morning. Customers coming to the shop are mainly parents bringing their children to experience and young people. What makes Mr. Huynh happiest is not only the increase in customers but also the positive response from young people.

"Not only to catch the trend, many young people are really interested in the cultural and historical message that the shop wants to convey. There are even parents who bring their children, point to the flag and explain about the national holiday to their children. Those are the moments that make me feel proud," said Mr. Huynh.

Each person has a way of expressing patriotism.

Nham Coffee on Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 2, Binh Thanh District is one of the favorite places for young people to visit. The red color of the national flag is brilliant from the outside to the inside. The flags flutter along the entrance, creating a heroic atmosphere, evoking feelings of pride as soon as you enter the shop. Inside, the beverage area has dozens of small flags - free gifts for customers to hold and raise when taking photos. The cake counter is decorated in a uniform and delicate manner with national flag motifs, creating a space filled with the sacred atmosphere of the great holiday.

Nguyen Viet Anh, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, and his friend Nguyen Ha Linh (18 years old), living in alley 92, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh street, Binh Thanh district, took the opportunity to go to the cafe to take beautiful photos before more tourists flock to Ho Chi Minh City during the holiday. Holding a cup of coffee printed with the image of the red flag with a yellow star, Viet Anh could not hide his pride: "Many people think that today's youth are no longer interested in history, but I think each generation has its own way of expressing patriotism. For me, going to cafes like this is to take pictures, spreading the national spirit in a gentle but profound way."

Viet Anh said that checking in is not simply for "virtual living" but also a way for each young person to review the heroic traditions of the nation. The male student said: "Just holding the flag and taking a picture in a place decorated with such Vietnamese style, I feel proud. No need to do anything big, sometimes just a small action to show affection for the country".

Sharing the same spirit, Nguyen Minh Khoi (22 years old), currently working at 12 - 12A Nguyen Van Mai, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, also came to the shop after accidentally seeing a video on social media. "I saw that the shop has many beautiful places to take pictures, eye-catching decorations, so I wanted to try it, especially when the April 30 holiday is coming up," Khoi shared.

Initially, Khoi only intended to stop by for the experience, but he could not hide his surprise when he saw the space decorated with many images related to the country. "Choosing a cup of coffee printed with the image of the national flag is also a way for young people to express their patriotism in a very unique way," Khoi said.
