After 6 months of construction with a budget of nearly 1,100 billion VND, the project to beautify Bai Sau Vung Tau beach has been completed and put into use, helping the April 30 and May 1 holidays attract a large number of visitors to Vung Tau beach.

During the recent holidays, tens of thousands of people and tourists flocked to Bai Sau area (Vung Tau city) to have fun and swim.

After the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays, which were deserted due to the construction of the Bai Sau renovation project, Vung Tau beach this holiday season attracted a lot of tourists, mainly from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, and Binh Phuoc.

Many young families in Ho Chi Minh City choose to spend their holidays in Vung Tau because the Back Beach area has just been renovated and is very beautiful. The distance to Vung Tau is about 100km. The cuisine in Vung Tau is very rich, with many places to visit and have fun.

Many schools have just finished exams, so many families take their children on vacation. According to records on May 3 and 4, the central routes of Vung Tau City and coastal routes such as Ha Long and Thuy Van were quite crowded. The beaches in Vung Tau from the beginning of Nghinh Phong Cape to the Cot Co area were crowded, however, compared to the first days of the holiday, the number of visitors has decreased significantly.

Paragliding and jet skiing services also attract tourists to experience when coming to Vung Tau. The weather in Vung Tau during the holidays is sunny and beautiful, very convenient for tourists to experience fun at the beach.

Female tourist poses by Vung Tau beach. "Back Beach is very beautiful after being renovated. I often go to Vung Tau with my friends to swim and enjoy fresh seafood here. After Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway is put into operation, I will probably come back here often," said Ms. Pham Thi Le Uyen (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai).

According to the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center, after four days of holidays, Vung Tau City served more than 300,000 beachgoers.

The Center has assigned 100% of its staff to be on duty at its headquarters, tourist areas, and public beaches to perform water rescue tasks, ensure beach safety, coordinate to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, food safety, manage service business activities, and provide information, promotion, and support for tourists.

Vung Tau Back Beach Park with a total investment of more than 1,094 billion VND from the provincial budget has gradually taken shape, some areas have officially opened to visitors since the end of April.

Items such as the pedestrian bridge and 3D Mapping performance area in the recently completed Bai Sau area renovation project attract tourists.

On this occasion, Ba Ria - Vung Tau organizes the V-FEST ALLSTAR music festival, kite festival, sailing race and lion and dragon dance competition, creating entertainment space for local people and attracting tourists.

At Bai Sau Park, visitors enjoy the 3D mapping show with 35 effects projected on the brick floor. Visitors can interact and chase colorful fish under the ocean.

The entire project, consisting of 12 main items located on a 19.2-hectare plot of land running along 3.2km of Thuy Van Street, is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.
