AI race of technology companies
According to the latest report from Gartner (2025), 75% of consumer interactions with businesses today are supported by AI. This clearly reflects the trend of AI moving from supporting technology to a central factor in all consumer products. Not only phones but also TVs, laptops, and home appliances are racing to integrate AI.
Specifically, Samsung stands out with the Galaxy AI ecosystem, applied to the Galaxy S24. Features such as Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist have taken communication, learning, and working to a new level. Not stopping there, Samsung also deployed the Ballie robot - an AI assistant for the family and the 3rd generation Neo QLED 8K AI TV, all to build a seamless network of experiences.
LG is not far behind. Through a partnership with Microsoft, LG is bringing Copilot AI to its new OLED TV line, and integrating AI ThinQ into its smart home ecosystem. LG hopes that each device will not only operate intelligently but also "think" with the user.
Apple has carefully launched Apple Intelligence, integrating AI deeply into iPhone, iPad, MacBook, from smarter Siri to automating personal workflows. According to market research firm IDC, Apple's new AI ecosystem will create a big push for the personal device market in the next 3 years.
In the mainstream segment, realme with realme 14 Series equipped with AI Performance Engine, POCO launched C71 with 32MP AI camera. Xiaomi also developed HyperOS AIoT, extending AI from phones to smart home ecosystem.
According to TechInsights, the global Edge AI market is estimated to reach $81.9 billion by 2030 thanks to the increase in devices that process data on-site, such as TVs, laptops, and smartphones, without sending it to the cloud. Technology companies are betting big on this trend to optimize the experience while ensuring user privacy.
In Vietnam, Samsung Vina stated: "AI will lay the foundation for a connected, sustainable ecosystem." Meanwhile, a representative of HP Vietnam shared: "AI applications not only improve productivity but also redefine the way people interact with technology."
AI shapes personal lifestyles
AI is now becoming a new competitive "battlefield" in the consumer device industry. Whoever personalizes better will win the hearts of users. In fact, in the past, technology was simply a service tool, but now with the explosion of AI, devices have become smart partners accompanying users.
Specifically, with the Galaxy S24 smartphone, the Live Translate application helps users translate voice directly during international calls, breaking down language barriers. Meanwhile, Note Assist supports summarizing and organizing notes automatically, increasing learning and work efficiency.
In the home segment, Samsung Ballie not only monitors security but also automatically adjusts temperature, plays workout videos, and reminds of daily activities - truly a true AI butler. 3D Map View technology on Samsung TVs also allows users to control all devices in the house with just one intuitive interface.
In work and study, the newly launched HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 Laptop has attracted users' attention thanks to AI Companion, which allows offline document processing, predicts search content, and automates data organization. This is a typical example of a generation of computers that work together instead of simply operating on command.
As for home appliances from LG with AI ThinQ, Xiaomi HyperOS AIoT not only responds to commands but also proactively analyzes behavior, automatically adjusts lighting, air filtration, and reduces energy consumption according to living habits.
According to Euromonitor, by the end of 2025, 47% of consumers will prioritize products with integrated smart AI, supporting deeper personalization in shopping, learning, and entertainment experiences.
However, this development also brings with it security challenges. A Forrester report found that 58% of consumers are concerned about privacy when using AI devices. Companies like Apple, Samsung, and Google have pledged to enhance data protection with Edge AI security technologies and multi-layered encryption.
Despite concerns, the benefits of AI are redefining lifestyle habits: from more flexible working, more personalized entertainment, to more proactive health management. In the near future, AI technology will not only be present in devices but will permeate every smallest action of modern life.
