During the historic days of April, the northernmost land of the Fatherland put on a brilliant red coat of flags, flowers, billboards, slogans and many cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Agencies, schools and residential areas also simultaneously hung the national flag, creating a solemn and exciting atmosphere, recalling the heroic historical days of the nation. Feelings of excitement, emotion and pride are the common feelings of every citizen during these days. Veteran Nguyen The Soai, Tran Phu ward (TPHG) shared: Every year when April comes, my heart is filled with emotion. Having participated in the fight to liberate the South, April 30, 1975 will always be a special day in my memory. Only after experiencing the war years and witnessing the division of the country in two parts can we fully understand the great significance of the April 30 victory. Therefore, I always remind my children and grandchildren of the value of peace, independence, and freedom to live and work in a way that is worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations.

In that flow, Ha Giang youth have carried out many practical activities, typically the traditional talk program at the National Historical Relic Site of Bac Me Cang, Yen Cuong Commune (Bac Me). Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Hoang The Hanh said: This is an activity with special meaning to "Tell historical stories - Fuel the tradition" for union members and young people. The touching stories have shown the will, patriotism, indomitable revolutionary spirit and the great sacrifice of war veterans, heroes and martyrs in the cause of national liberation. Thereby, fostering love for the homeland and country in each young person, to strive to study and continue writing the heroic history of the nation...

The union members and young people sat together, attentively listening to the stories and memories, sometimes boiling with enthusiasm, sometimes choked with emotion, of the veterans. At that moment, the young people were filled with admiration and deep gratitude for the great contributions of their fathers and grandfathers. Attentively following the emotional sharing of historical witnesses, Chu Khanh Linh, a student of Yen Phu High School (Bac Me) expressed: Today's generation is very lucky to be born and raised in peacetime, to live in a country where the war has ended, the economy is increasingly prosperous. We realize that we need to be conscious, responsible, and make efforts to study and work well to contribute to building an increasingly prosperous country.
