Attending the preliminary review were comrades: Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan; Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thanh Binh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of units implementing the celebration program.

The program to celebrate the 50th Liberation Day of Binh Thuan province took place on the evening of April 19, at the stage of the provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition, including 3 parts: Before the ceremony; official program of the celebration; art program and high-altitude fireworks display. The program aims to review the heroic and glorious tradition of the Vietnamese people as well as the army and people of Binh Thuan. Thereby, it arouses patriotism, national pride, encourages cadres, party members and all classes of people, armed forces of the province to continue to work enthusiastically, be creative, compete to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the locality.

Specifically, in the pre-ceremony part (starting from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), delegates and people will watch the reportage “Binh Thuan, 50 years of construction, innovation and development”. The official program of the celebration starts from 8:00 p.m. to 9:05 p.m., broadcast live by Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station and directly connected to a number of Radio and Television Stations of provinces and centrally-run cities.

The 55-minute art program, consisting of 3 chapters, was staged in a unique and elaborate manner, recreating the youthful troops, one after another, marching into battle, cutting through Truong Son, not sparing blood and bones, all for the beloved South, for the integrity of the sacred S-shaped strip of land. Coordinating synchronously and rhythmically with the battlefields of the whole country, during 51 days and nights of fire and smoke, the army and people of Binh Thuan united as one, enthusiastically volunteering with the spirit of determination to fight and win; liberating the homeland, completely liberating the South, and unifying the country. Besides, it also introduced the beauty, natural potential and achievements of Binh Thuan after 50 years of liberation to enter a new era with the whole country. The ceremony ended with a high-altitude fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan.

At the preliminary review, the provincial leaders gave specific comments on the content of the program script. Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh assessed: The program was basically implemented according to the plan and required content, however, some details in the script and program introduction need to be edited and supplemented to be suitable. For the art program, attention should be paid to the connection of the art works, and all stages from props, sound, lighting, costumes, etc. should be carefully prepared so that the program can be a great success.

Afterwards, the provincial leaders inspected the facilities, stage preparations and the grandstand area consisting of 3 blocks, with 3,000 delegates attending the ceremony.
