“Zero-VND Market” - Warming the hearts of the poor on Chol Chnam Thmay festival

STO - On April 8, at Prés Buone Prés Phék Pagoda (Four Faces), Phu Tan Commune, Chau Thanh District (Soc Trang), the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Chau Thanh District organized a "Zero-VND Market" on the occasion of the Khmer people's Chol Chnam Thmay New Year in 2025. This is a meaningful activity, aiming to share difficulties with disadvantaged households in the commune.

Coming to this market, 50 households were able to choose necessary goods and foods for Tet, such as: fish sauce, salt, soy sauce, cooking oil, instant noodles, sugar, eggs, vegetables, rice, etc. The total cost of the "Zero Dong Market" was over 20 million VND contributed by benefactors and philanthropists inside and outside the district.

Comrade Chau Hong Hoa - President of Chau Thanh District Women's Union said, "Zero Dong Market" is not only an activity to provide material support, but also shows the spirit of mutual love and sharing in the community, especially for Khmer people in difficult circumstances to have a warmer Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
