On March 29, 2025, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province, the leaders of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/Group) presented 2 billion VND to support Ninh Thuan Province at the Launching Ceremony of the 90-day and night Campaign in response to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister - Nguyen Chi Dung; leaders of Ninh Thuan province; leaders of People's Committees of districts and cities; businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the province and representatives of households supported to build houses in Phan Rang-Thap Cham city; rewarded collectives and individuals; and central and local news agencies and press.
On the Petrolimex side, there were Board Member - General Director Dao Nam Hai and leaders of the Group's Departments; Leaders of Ninh Thuan Petroleum Branch - a member unit of Petrolimex located in Ninh Thuan province.
The campaign aims to respond to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ninh Thuan province with the goal of mobilizing the strength of the entire political system, business community, and people of all walks of life to support disadvantaged households to have more solid and spacious houses.
Responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide from now until 2025", Petrolimex has been actively participating and contributing to this meaningful movement. On this occasion, the Group supported Ninh Thuan province with 2 billion VND at the launching ceremony of the 90-day and night campaign responding to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Party's policy and the State's policy always take the people as the target and the subject, therefore, Ninh Thuan needs to identify social security work, caring for people's lives in general and caring for housing for people in particular as a continuous, long-term task, requiring the joint efforts of the entire political system, social community, and people of all walks of life to "leave no one behind".
Party committees at all levels, authorities, socio-political organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and people of all walks of life continue to implement the motto "State support, community assistance, people proactively rise up", with solidarity, responsibility, and determination to complete the campaign's goals with the highest political goals and determination.
During the implementation process, it is necessary to focus on inspection and supervision to ensure that the Party and State's policies are implemented openly, transparently, and to the right subjects; and that construction works are on schedule and of good quality.
Over the years, not only standing out as a State-owned enterprise with many important contributions to the national economy in ensuring energy security, Petrolimex has always paid attention to social security work in all localities across the country and considered it an important content for sustainable development, to further develop the Group. In 2024, the Group spent 364 billion VND on social security work, including 217 billion VND for building and repairing temporary and dilapidated houses for people with housing difficulties (equivalent to 4,300 houses nationwide). All leaders, officers, employees and workers of Petrolimex always identify their sense of responsibility to the community through practical actions, supporting both materially and spiritually, contributing to improving the lives of local people, promoting the fine tradition of mutual love of the whole nation.
