The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the proposal to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, along with many other important contents.
Information from the National Assembly Office said that tomorrow (April 14), the 44th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will officially open.
According to the meeting agenda, in the morning, the Secretary General of the National Assembly announced the reason and introduced the delegates. Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech of the meeting.
Here, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the draft Law on Atomic Energy (amended). At the same time, it gave its opinion on the Report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; and reviewed the National Assembly's report on the people's petition work in March 2025.
On the same day, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed and approved the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units (replacing Resolution No. 35/2023/UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2030 period).
In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the dossier proposing to amend and supplement a number of articles of the Law. Constitution 2013; establish a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; solicit public opinions on the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
The 44th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will be held in two phases, with the first phase taking place from April 14 to 17 (reservation from April 18 to 21); the second phase from April 22 to 28.
