At the propaganda session, teachers and students listened to the reporter of Brigade 146 inform about the situation of the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa; the bases and legal grounds affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; the tradition and results of the activities of the Vietnam People's Navy in performing training tasks, combat readiness, defense diplomacy, search and rescue; the viewpoints of our Party and State in resolving issues at sea; the role and position of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Officers of Brigade 146 informed students about the conditions and admission process to become officers serving in the Navy.

Students also learned about the conditions and recruitment process to become officers serving in the Navy; the regime and policies for students, officers and forces in the Navy; about the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, contributing to raising patriotism, national pride, and vigilance against the plots of hostile forces. The propaganda session helped students who wish to grasp the standards, procedures and orientation for themselves to register for the entrance exam to the Naval Academy and the Naval Technical College in the upcoming entrance exam; contributing to raising students' awareness of their love for the sea and islands of their homeland, the position, role and important strategic importance of the sea and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
