Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and sectors of the province; Labor Federations of 12 districts, cities and towns; the Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union and the Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union; representatives of companies and enterprises in Son La city with trade unions and 180 delegates who are union members representing more than 50,000 union members, workers and civil servants in the whole province.

With the theme “Vietnamese workers pioneering the new era”, the Provincial Labor Federation calls on and requests all union members and workers to strictly enforce the law on labor safety and hygiene. Trade unions at all levels coordinate with the government, agencies, units and enterprises to uphold the sense of responsibility, respond enthusiastically and with the highest efficiency. Promote the patriotic emulation movement, set good examples in labor, production, work and study, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully carry out the task of socio-economic development.

Responding to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, trade unions at all levels organized many practical activities for workers such as: Visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, having work-related accidents and occupational diseases; supporting the construction of union shelters; organizing "Creative Labor Festival"; honoring and praising workers with achievements in labor and production, with many initiatives and creativity, achieving high results in competitions for skilled workers, etc.

As part of a series of activities in response to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor organizes an online contest "Workers, civil servants, and laborers learn about occupational safety and hygiene"; the contest period is from April 26 to May 16, 2025. Through the contest, awareness, understanding, and skills to comply with regulations and work procedures, ensure occupational safety and hygiene; implement solutions to prevent and minimize the risk of occupational accidents and diseases for union members and laborers. Commend and replicate effective models and practices in occupational safety and hygiene and environmental protection.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented support for "Union Shelter" to 14 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, totaling 680 million VND; the funding source was taken from the "Union Member and Workers Support Fund of Son La Trade Union".
