(HTV) - The Standing Committee of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council decided to convene the 21st Session (Special Session) of the 10th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council informed about the 21st Session of the City People's Council.

Accordingly, the Session will take place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025 (expected 1 session) at the City Hall, No. 111 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3.

At the Session, the City People's Council will consider the Proposals of the City People's Committee on the following contents: Organization of the apparatus of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee; Regulations on additional support regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers when implementing the organization, restructuring and arrangement of administrative units at all levels of the political system in the City; Issuing specific policies to support tuition fees for preschool children under 5 years old, high school students studying at public and non-public educational institutions and high school continuing education students in Ho Chi Minh City from the 2025-2026 school year.

Regarding the organizational structure, the Session considered the Adjustment of Resolution No. 18/2023/NQ-HDND dated September 19, 2023 on the functions and tasks of administrative organizations and public service units under the People's Committee of Thu Duc City; Adjustment of Resolution No. 78/NQ-HDND dated September 19, 2023 of the City People's Council on the organizational structure of administrative organizations and public service units under the People's Committee of Thu Duc City.

The City People's Council considered and approved the investment policy for existing BOT road infrastructure projects according to Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly and a number of reports related to policies and regimes on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The meeting will also proceed with the approval of the draft resolution and personnel work.
