The province currently has more than 18,850 food production and trading establishments and catering services. Organized food safety supervision for 101 cultural and political events in the province, ensuring absolute safety and no food safety incidents; collected 126 food samples to monitor for contamination risks, with the results showing that 100% of the samples passed.

Thuan Chau district has 2,308 establishments producing, processing, trading food, providing catering services and collective kitchens. Mr. Dinh Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of Thuan Chau District People's Committee, said: The District Food Safety Steering Committee directed agencies, units, People's Committees of communes and towns to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of food safety knowledge. In 2024, 329 direct talks were organized; 334 establishments were inspected, 47 establishments were detected and handled for violations, and 80 million VND was paid to the state budget. Thanks to that, there were no food poisoning cases in the district.

When importing items that do not meet regulations, the Company will return them to the supplier and impose penalties according to the signed contract.
With the theme "Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food", the Food Safety Action Month 2025 will be implemented from April 15 to May 15, 2025. The Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee requested sectors and localities to focus on building and maintaining effective pilot models on food safety; organizing assessments, drawing lessons and replicating them in localities. Functional forces should strengthen coordination in the fight against and prevention of food safety violations; mobilize people to detect and denounce violators of food safety laws at production and business establishments to competent authorities for timely inspection and handling.
Along with that, food production, processing and trading establishments also need to raise their sense of responsibility in choosing quality ingredients, reliable products, and clear origins.
