(Fatherland) - On the morning of October 15, 2,056 new graduate students and new undergraduates from various faculties, along with staff and lecturers of Hanoi University of Culture, welcomed the opening ceremony of the new school year 2024-2025.
More than 1 month since the day K65 students entered school, today October 15, Hanoi University of Culture held the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Training Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, staff and lecturers of Hanoi University of Culture, its sister units and especially more than two thousand new students of K65.
Before the opening ceremony, delegates and new students came to offer flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh on the school campus.
Delegates offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong - Principal of the School said: The School has a total of 2,023 new students for the 2024-2028 course admitted along with 33 graduate students. In the 2023-2024 school year, with solidarity and constant efforts, teachers and students of Hanoi University of Culture have successfully completed their tasks in all fields and continued to affirm the School as a key training institution in the cultural field of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Sending a heartfelt message to nearly 2,023 new students, the school's Principal said: "We are living in an era of unprecedented change and challenges, which are volatility, uncertainty and complexity. Technology is developing at a dizzying pace, erasing all borders and barriers, reshaping every aspect of social life. Along with that are new emerging issues, revolutionary changes in habits, working methods and social connections, concerns and challenges in many global and national issues. The demands placed on students are increasing, but when we have identified and found the way, the path to go, the only thing that remains most important is your own efforts, efforts and determination."
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Huong - Principal of Hanoi University of Culture beats the drum to open the new school year.
Continuing the success of previous years' enrollment, in 2024, Hanoi University of Culture achieved 100% of enrollment targets with high input quality (over 80% of students were admitted with an average score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of 23 points or higher, of which 2/3 had an average score of 25 points or higher). This continues to affirm the brand of training high-quality human resources in the fields of culture, tourism, information and journalism of the University.
New student Tran Thi Bich Ngoc - Faculty of Journalism and Writing spoke at the opening ceremony.
On behalf of the new students, student Tran Thi Bich Ngoc presented flowers to the School Principal.
Also within the framework of the ceremony, 9 new students with excellent results received Certificates of Merit from the School.
The school also receives scholarships for students in difficult circumstances from BIDV Bank.
Some performances to celebrate the opening day were choreographed by students and teachers in the school.
Delegates take souvenir photos with the School Board of Directors.
