Dong Nai has a new Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee

The 22nd session of the People's Council of Dong Nai province, term X, 2021-2026, on the morning of December 11, elected Mr. Duong Minh Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Long Thanh District Party Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with 70/71 votes, reaching more than 94%.


Delegates attending the meeting unanimously approved the draft Resolution on confirming the election results of Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021-2026 for Mr. Duong Minh Dung.

Mr. Duong Minh Dung, born in 1970, from Dat Do district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. Degree: Master of Business Administration; Bachelor of Economics; Bachelor of Party building and state administration; Senior in political theory.

Previously, Mr. Dung held the following positions: Deputy Head of Dong Nai Province Market Management Department, Director of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, Secretary of Long Thanh District Party Committee.

In particular, he personally made his mark as the head of the Long Thanh District Party Committee, making many efforts to lead the local political system, mobilize people to highly agree, complete compensation, support, resettlement, and serve clean land for the national key project of Long Thanh International Airport and the connecting traffic system.

Thus, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee currently has 5 members, including: Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc and 4 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Thi Hoang, Nguyen Son Hung, Vo Van Phi and Duong Minh Dung.
