The 2023 high school graduation exam will officially take place from June 28-29. Candidates need to pay attention to the items that are allowed and not allowed to be brought into the exam room.

In 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training amended and supplemented a number of articles of the Regulations on High School Graduation Exams. Accordingly, in the 2023 High School Graduation Exam Regulations, there have been changes to the list of items allowed into the exam room.

Candidates are only allowed to bring into the examination room: Pens, pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, calculators; calculators without text editing function, no memory cards; Vietnam Geography Atlas for the Geography exam.

This year, the Ministry of Education and Training did not specify the list of calculators as in previous years, but only required that the calculators "do not have word processing functions".

According to the 2023 high school graduation exam regulations, candidates are not allowed to bring audio and video recorders that only have the function of recording information but cannot listen, watch, and cannot transmit or receive information, audio and visual signals directly without other supporting devices.

At the same time, items that are not allowed in the exam room include: carbon paper, erasers, documents, phones, communication devices or devices containing information that can be used to cheat during the exam, smart watches, weapons, explosives, flammable substances, and alcoholic beverages.

Any violation of the regulations will result in suspension from the exam. Candidates who are suspended from the exam must submit their exam papers, exam questions, and scratch paper to the invigilator and leave the exam room immediately after the decision is made.

The 2023 High School Graduation Exam has a total number of candidates registered for the exam: 1,024,063. Of which, the number of independent candidates: 37,841, accounting for 3.69% of the total number of candidates; Candidates only considering graduation: 47,769, accounting for 4.66% of the total number of candidates; Candidates only considering university admission: 34,155, accounting for 3.33% of the total number of candidates.

In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the exam schedule. On June 27, candidates will complete the procedures for the 2023 high school graduation exam. On June 28, candidates will complete the math and literature exams. Candidates will choose one of two combined exams, including Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, to finish the exam on June 29.
