At the Mondulkiri Provincial Police Department and Mondulkiri Military Sub-region, Colonel Dao Viet Hung wished the people and armed forces of Mondulkiri province good health and happiness in the new year, continued success in the cause of national construction and development, ensuring national defense and security; and wished the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia to continue to grow.

At the same time, he expressed his hope that the two sides would continue to coordinate more closely in performing the tasks of managing and protecting national borders; fighting and preventing crimes in border areas, especially drug crimes, human trafficking and illegal immigration across the border.

Major General Orn Bunyrithy, Deputy Director in charge of security of Mondulkiri Provincial Police Department and Lieutenant General San Kim Eoun, Commander of Mondulkiri Military Sub-region, thanked the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard for their affection, especially their attention, help and support for the armed forces of Mondulkiri Province; at the same time, they proposed that the two sides continue to coordinate in protecting the status quo of the border markers and border lines; cooperate in exchanging information related to security and order, preventing all kinds of crimes in the border area, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developed border.
