The three main actors playing the roles of Quy Rom, Tieu Long and little Hanh in the movie version of " Kaleidoscope" were finally announced by the producer, along with the expected release date of Christmas 2024.

Quy Rom, Tieu Long and Hanh from the book of writer Nguyen Nhat Anh gradually stepped onto the small screen in a TV series that was broadcast exactly 20 years ago.

The mischievous Quy Rom, the martial arts-prodigy and naive Tieu Long, and the know-it-all Professor Hanh have contributed to creating wonderful memories for a generation of audiences.

The success of actors Ngoc Trai, Vu Long and Anh Dao in the TV version also made many audiences look forward to the performances of the film trio.

Therefore, when deciding to make the film version, finding the most suitable faces was quite a pressure. Finally, with the support of “Quy Rom” Ngoc Trai and “Tieu Long” Vu Long, this trio was chosen: Hung Anh (as Quy Rom), Nhat Linh (as Tieu Long), Phuong Duyen (as Hanh).

According to the film's production director: "Kaleidoscope has a total of 3 casting rounds from online rounds to live casting. The process of finding the main actors was really difficult because the age group of 14-15 years old of the trio Quy - Long - Hanh is quite picky about actors. The second casting round was widely expanded to many provinces and cities across the country and received many applications from those who are passionate about acting and love Kaleidoscope ".

According to the producer's representative, the process of searching for actors gathered many famous people with acting experience as well as very new faces.

Finally, the producer decided to choose three completely new faces, who had never participated in any acting classes or any films. “This was also a risky decision for the producer, but we were convinced and surprised by their suitability for the role, their ability and their confidence,” the crew representative shared.

Director Vo Thanh Hoa also promised: "With this film version, we will definitely not only see the characters in Kaleidoscope again, but we will also see our stories in it."

In the images released by the producer, the trio Hung Anh - Nhat Linh - Phuong Duyen appear together in school uniforms, bringing viewers into a Vietnamese school space as described by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh.

Even more surprising is that the photo series also features Quy, Long, and Hanh from the TV version, making the audience even more curious about what role this famous trio will play in Kaleidoscope .

The film is directed by Vo Thanh Hoa and is scheduled to premiere on December 27.
