People's Artist Kim Cuong - A diva with a kind heart

Born in 1937, Kim Cuong was soon attached to the stage as the daughter of People's Artist Bay Nam and producer Nguyen Phuoc Cuong. Her artistic journey began at a young age with the role of Na Tra in the play Na Tra Lo Thit.

Kim Cuong is famous for the play La Durian , in which she was both the writer and the main character. She holds the record for being the artist who wrote the most drama scripts in Vietnam, as confirmed by the Vietnam Book of Records Center. In her illustrious career, she was not only an actress but also a writer, director and head of the Kim Cuong Drama Troupe - the most professional drama troupe in the South.

At the age of 88, People's Artist Kim Cuong is still lucid and continues to promote reformed opera and stage plays to the younger generation. In 2025, People's Artist Kim Cuong was honored by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee as one of the 7 outstanding artists in the cause of building, protecting and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 1975-2025. This is a worthy recognition for her contributions not only in art but also in charity work through the Bay Nam Scholarship Fund and her Soulmate Artist program.

In October 2024, People's Artist Kim Cuong was hospitalized at the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute due to difficulty breathing and a relapse of her heart disease. Despite her poor health, she still planned to cooperate with the Vietnam Stage Artists Association to re-stage the play "The Durian Leaf" in Hanoi to raise funds for disadvantaged artists in the North, demonstrating her undying passion and love for the profession.

Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia

MC Dai Nghia was born in 1978 in Ho Chi Minh City. He started his career at the Idecaf theater stage and quickly became a beloved MC with a charming and friendly hosting style.

HIEUTHUHAI (real name Tran Minh Hieu), born in 1999 in Ho Chi Minh City. He emerged from the King Of Rap competition and is a member of the Gerdnang group, impressing with his youthful rap style and handsome appearance.

Unlike the big names that have established a solid position, HIEUTHUHAI represents a new generation of artists who are in the process of asserting themselves and building their own style. He is loved by young people thanks to the new breeze he brings to the Vietnamese music market.
