On the afternoon of April 14, speaking with VietNamNet reporters, a representative of Vinh University (Vinh City, Nghe An) said that regarding the incident where a railing from the 4th floor fell on 3 female students, one of whom suffered a traumatic brain injury, the doctor had completed the surgery.
Specifically, the female student who suffered a traumatic brain injury is VKQ (15 years old, 9th grade student, Pedagogical Practice High School (Vinh University). Q. is 1 of 3 female students injured after a stainless steel railing from the 4th floor of Pedagogical Practice High School fell on her.
According to Nghe An General Hospital, after the accident, Q. suffered a broken skull bone that penetrated the brain, damaging the blood vessels. Currently, the female student's vital signs are stable, and doctors are continuing to monitor and treat the patient.
In addition, female student NNHTr. (Q's friend) is also being treated by doctors at Vinh City General Hospital. Female student Tr. suffered blood loss, shock, and an open wound on her head of about 10cm.

After undergoing surgery, the female student Tr. was conscious but unable to talk. The other female student was also taken to Vinh City General Hospital for examination after the accident, but this female student suffered minor injuries and was discharged.
Previously, at around 9:30 a.m. the same day, a section of railing on the 4th floor of the Pedagogical Practice High School fell on 3 female 9th grade students.
Upon receiving the news, the police force approached and examined the scene. It is expected that this afternoon, a working group from the Nghe An Department of Construction will arrive at the scene to inspect issues related to safety and construction techniques.
Vinh University Pedagogical Practice High School announced that all students will be off school on the afternoon of April 14.
