(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On April 29, Vinh Loc district held a conference to summarize the work of mobilizing support for the construction and repair of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties and to commend and reward collectives and individuals with many achievements in implementing Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 22-CT/TU dated March 30, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in the two years 2024-2025.

Implementing Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and focusing on implementing the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, authorities, agencies, units, enterprises, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations in Vinh Loc district, they have done a good job of propaganda, mobilization, calling and mobilizing all subjects to participate. At the same time, the district has promoted its exemplary, flexible and creative role in implementation; not afraid of hardship, persistently mobilizing to gain consensus and support, and has been actively and effectively responded to by a large number of organizations, cadres, party members, union members, members, philanthropists and people of all walks of life.

Chairwoman of the Vinh Loc District Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Cam Tu reported on the results of the work of mobilizing support for building and repairing houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties.

As of April 28, 2025, the total amount of support received in the 2 years 2024-2025 is 9,956,361,794 VND; the amount transferred to the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund in the 2 years is 4 billion VND, exceeding the target assigned by the province to join hands with districts in the province to build houses for households with housing difficulties.

The result of financial support for new construction and repair of houses in the district in the 2 years of 2024-2025 (as of April 25, 2025) is 50 houses, with a total support amount of 3,360,000,000 VND). The District Steering Committee 1449 organized a groundbreaking ceremony for construction and repair of houses simultaneously in the entire district. Accordingly, 34 new houses (with a total amount of 2,720,000,000 VND) were started to be built and 16 houses (with a total amount of 640,000,000 VND) were repaired for 100% of the beneficiaries in the 2 years of 2024-2025 in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 22-CT/TU, in all localities in the district; Complete the construction of new and repaired houses for households in April 2025, ensuring 100% implementation of the plan.

The remaining funds of the Campaign currently at the District-level “For the Poor” Fund managed at Transaction Office No. 7 - State Treasury of Region X is VND 2,582,704,794. It is expected that the remaining funds will be used to support 133 households to build new, renovate and repair approved houses, with a total amount of VND 2,020,000,000. Provide financial support for new construction and house repair for 7 households (implemented in May 2025, according to the decision of the Steering Committee, based on the request of 6 communes, supplemented after reviewing and assessing the reality, households needing support due to storms, natural disasters, especially difficult, meeting the conditions according to the instructions, ensuring the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses in the district in 2025 in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee). All remaining money (if any) after the district provides support for house construction and repair according to the instructions will be transferred to the Thanh Hoa Province "For the Poor" Fund for management in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, 34 collectives and 35 individuals were commended and rewarded for their achievements in mobilizing support for housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in the two years 2024-2025.
