On March 31, Viettel Digital Services Corporation (Viettel Digital) - a member of the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) said that in the first half of 2025, the unit coordinated with the Ministry of Health and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association to implement a series of medical and financial support programs for people in difficult circumstances in 9 localities including Tuyen Quang, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Binh Dinh, Son La, Lam Dong, Hai Duong, Cao Bang and Hue.

These are areas with high ethnic minority populations, with many elderly people and children lacking adequate access to health services.

With the message “Building the future - Strong Vietnam”, at each stop, the poor, the elderly and children in difficult circumstances are examined, consulted, treated and given free medicine by a team of doctors and medical staff from the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Viet Xo Friendship Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, etc.

In addition to donating necessities, blood pressure monitors and direct financial support, the program organizes consulting points about Viettel Money - a digital financial ecosystem researched and developed by Viettel - to support people in accessing safe and convenient financial technology.

Viettel Digital General Director Le Van Dai said: “We believe that, for sustainable development, people need to be healthy and have a solid financial foundation. This activity continues to affirm Viettel's social responsibility orientation - supporting disadvantaged groups and realizing the country's sustainable development goals.”
