Le Than Tong (1607-1662) was the 17th king of the Later Le Dynasty. When he was born, the Le Dynasty was only a nominal king, all power in Dang Ngoai belonged to the Trinh family, and Dang Trong was ruled by Lord Nguyen.
Le Than Tong ascended the throne for the first time in 1619, at the age of 12.
