After the Project "Application of microbial products in agricultural production in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 in Quang Tri province" was approved, the Quang Tri Center for Research, Technology Transfer and Innovation coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union; the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (formerly), the Department of Economy - Infrastructure; associations: Women's Union, Farmers' Union of the province; People's Committees of communes, wards and towns; farms and agricultural production enterprises in the area to conduct surveys, assess the demand for use, make a list of registrations and supply of microbial products (VSV). At the same time, direct and guide the technical use, production and supply of VSV products to organizations and individuals according to the content of the project.

In order to widely disseminate the benefits of using biological products in agricultural production and promote the unit's research products, the center has strengthened propaganda work on mass media such as: Quang Tri Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station to propagate the effectiveness of applying biotechnology in cultivation; livestock; aquaculture; disseminate policies, measures and technical instructions for using biological products; support policies of the project, uses and effectiveness of biological products...

The Center has integrated public service tasks with training and technology transfer on the use of microorganisms in the fields of aquaculture, processing agricultural by-products into organic fertilizers, and treating livestock environments...

As a result, 81 training courses were organized, transferring technical advances on the application of microbial products in life and production for 2,430 people in the province with contents such as: application of microbial products Nitro-QTMIC and Perfect-QTMIC in white-leg shrimp farming; waste treatment, waste treatment in agricultural processing; adding microbial products to animal feed and disease prevention in cultivation...

In coordination with the Provincial Youth Union, Trieu Phong District Youth Union organized 4 training courses for youth start-up model owners in the fields of agriculture and aquaculture; in coordination with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly) of Dong Ha City to provide microorganisms and technical support to build 100 household-scale waste management models.

From 2021-2024, the center has produced and supplied 5 types of VSV preparations with a quantity of 88.3 tons to 2 organic fertilizer factories; 1 aquatic breeding center; 6 livestock farms and more than 3,500 households. Of which, 47.98 tons of Compo-QTMIC and Tricho-Pseu preparations were supported for application in the treatment of agricultural by-products as organic fertilizers, preventing and controlling plant diseases; 30.76 tons of Nitro-QTMIC and Perfect-QTMIC preparations were supported for application in the treatment of pond bottoms and water environment for shrimp farming; supplemented feed in intensive shrimp farming to support digestion, increase the ability to absorb nutrients, and improve the intestinal tract for farmed shrimp; Support 9.54 tons of Pro-QTMIC and Bio-QTMIC preparations for application in livestock farming including treating barn odors, making biological bedding and supplementing pig feed to improve the digestive system, increase feed efficiency, contributing to supporting the development of safe pig farming.

After 4 years of implementation, it has been shown that applying microorganisms in agricultural production is a solution to improve productivity, product value, and sustainable production.

Localities have actively applied microbiological products in production and achieved quite good results, creating a large amount of organic fertilizer for agricultural production, while solving the problem of rural environmental pollution, effectively treating waste sources in agricultural processing. Currently, safe vegetable production areas, sandy soil crops, organic rice... have applied microbiological products Compo-QTMIC and Tricho-Pseu to treat waste sources to create thousands of tons of organic fertilizer every year.

Industrial and fruit tree growing areas using Tricho-Pseu preparations for garden care have contributed to soil improvement and increased disease resistance of plants; local people growing pepper have collected over 5,500 tons of agricultural waste and produced about 4,500 tons of organic fertilizer using Compo-QTMIC and Tricho-Pseu preparations to serve pepper cultivation. People widely apply various types of microorganisms to treat over 22,000 ^{m3 of} agricultural by-products, creating over 17,600 tons of organic fertilizer with low production investment costs, simple composting techniques, easy to apply, high efficiency, and fast decomposition time.

The abundant source of raw materials for organic fertilizer production in Quang Tri (an estimated annual supply of about 650,000 tons of crop waste and 800,000 tons of livestock manure) has contributed to creating a source of organic fertilizer on site, minimizing environmental pollution.

In aquaculture, using the microbial product Nitro-QTMIC to treat the pond water environment and Perfect-QTMIC to supplement shrimp feed in intensive shrimp farming in Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Trieu Phong, Hai Lang, Dong Ha districts with a total pond area of ​​over 500 hectares has helped improve and maintain water quality by accelerating the removal of excess waste in the water environment; at the same time, enhancing the beneficial microorganisms in the water, controlling toxic gases and preventing the formation of toxic gases in the bottom layer of the pond. In addition, Perfect-QTMIC also helps reduce about 10% of feed costs; reduce the incidence of diseases and infections in shrimp, especially intestinal diseases, fungi, etc.

In livestock and poultry farming, using Pro-QTMIC and Bio-QTMIC products to treat the livestock environment, improve the livestock digestive system, and help reduce feed costs by increasing food digestion and absorption. Livestock grow well and gain weight quickly thanks to eating fermented feed. In addition, using Bio-QTMIC products to treat livestock waste helps enhance the decomposition process of organic waste, inhibiting the growth of bacteria that cause bad odors.

The use of microbial products in agricultural production has helped people and businesses increase double efficiency in terms of economy, society and environment.

Veterinary preparations are used as an environmentally friendly pest control therapy instead of chemical therapies, contributing to creating a green and sustainable agriculture, without causing negative impacts on human health, livestock and the environment.
