Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai periodically receives citizens in April 2025

This morning, April 29, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai chaired the regular citizen reception session for April 2025 at the headquarters of the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ly Kieu Van; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors attended the citizen reception session.

At the headquarters of the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee, there were 4 cases of citizens coming to make recommendations and complaints, including: Nguyen Thi Lap, in Ward 1, Quang Tri town; Le Thi Hanh, in Hai Quy commune, Hai Lang district; Hoang Xuan Lam, in Gio Linh town, Gio Linh district; Nguyen Manh Huong, in Ward 1, Dong Ha city.

In particular, Mr. Hoang Xuan Lam proposed two contents including State management of land and policies and was received by the Provincial Party Secretary during the regular citizen reception in March 2025. Implementing the Conclusion of Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai, the Provincial Inspectorate has issued an Inspection Conclusion and is implementing the procedure to announce the conclusion. Regarding the content of payment of policies for meritorious people in March, according to the report of the Department of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Gio Linh district, the payment has been completed in accordance with regulations.

Regarding Ms. Nguyen Thi Lap and Ms. Le Thi Hanh, considering that the content of the petition and reflection is not within the scope of the Provincial Party Secretary's citizen reception according to Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW of the Politburo and Regulation No. 1718-QDi/TU dated October 8, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, but is under the authority of the People's Committee of Quang Tri town and the People's Committee of Hai Lang district. Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the localities to thoroughly resolve the petition of citizens in accordance with the law.

In the case of Mr. Nguyen Manh Huong, the petition was resolved by the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department and responded to the citizen in accordance with the provisions of law. However, on April 9, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Manh Huong continued to submit a petition with the same content, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to study and respond to the citizen.
