In the first semi-final match, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism entered the match with a solid defensive strategy, proactively playing tightly from home. This was a reasonable choice when their opponent, Life University (Cambodia), showed impressive performance in the group stage and was considered a strong candidate for the championship.

After 90 minutes of goalless regulation play, the two teams entered a nerve-wracking penalty shootout. Goalkeeper Thatsa Sayasone (Laos) of the Thanh representative shone when he successfully blocked the first two shots of DH Life, helping his team win 4-2 on penalties and secure a ticket to the final.

The second semi-final match between Malaysia University and Laos University was quite evenly matched. Both teams started the game cautiously, competing mainly in the midfield area. The first half ended without any goals being scored.

The tug-of-war continued in the second half. When the match seemed to end in a draw, Lao University unexpectedly opened the scoring in the 70th minute with a close-range header from Thanousack. However, just six minutes later, Husaini helped Malaysia University equalize 1-1 with a precise aerial strike.

The two teams continued to be undecided and entered the nerve-wracking penalty shootout. With a 4-3 victory on the 11m mark, Lao University officially entered the final match.

The final match will be a competition between Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Lao University at 3:30 p.m. on March 30. Notably, this is an interesting confrontation between goalkeeper Thatsa Sayasone of Thanh Hoa University and his compatriots from Lao University.

Before that, at 8:30 a.m. the same day, the third place match between Life University and Malaysia University also promises to be a dramatic competition.
